Originally published in the 1940s in Swedish, these are the second, third and fourth books from the author's series set in Sweden in the early 1900s, telling the tale of an orphan girl's unflagging generosity and kindness in the face of adversity and uncertainty. Translated from the Swedish by Joan Tate. All three volumes in tangerine cloth; 120, 128 and 111 pages, respectively. Dust jacket illustrations by Robin Lawrie. All three volumes VG w/moderate general wear (no previous owner's names, inscriptions or markings) in VG price-clipped dust jackets w/moderate general wear, excepting jacket of "Anna All Alone," which has an uneven 2.5" vertical-then-horizontal tear to bottom edge of rear panel (tape-repaired on reverse by previous owner). All three jackets now in protective mylar sleeves.
