"Assembles for the first time the story of Government House, treats of the human aspects of the inhabitants of the vice-regal residence." This copy a gift from Colonel Clarence Wallace (Lieutenant-Governor of British Columbia from 1950 to 1955) to John Babbitt McNair (Lieutenant-Governor of New Brunswick from 1965 through 1968), with a laid-in letter (signed by Wallace, who also contributes a Foreword) ) indicating this fact. This copy signed by both author McGregor and former Lieutenant-Governor Wallace, on title page. 75 pages, illustrated. Rubbed dust jacket w/mild edgewear, 1/4" tear to top left corner of front panel.
