A scarce CEA chap book originally distributed as a Supplement to the CEA Critic, Vol. XXXII, No. I, October 1969. Raine offers an essay of literary criticism tackling the problems represented by poetry of the mythic variety, while McPeek contributes "a list of works dealing with the nature and meaning of classical mythology and the Bible, together with a roughly chronological listing of the major versions and mythic reshapings of twenty representative myths and stories." 39 pages (Raine's essay 13, McPeek's bibliography 26). A hint of sunning to edges, previous owner's name to top edge of inside front cover. A scarce publication in any condition.
