Originally published in 1922 by The International Magazine Company, then in 1923 by Scribner's. Follows the fortunes of a family from humble beginnings through to fortune and, inevitably, financial ruin. Brown cloth, 391 pages. Dusty/foxed/tanned edges, faint cover soil, moderate wear to corners/spine ends, previous owner's name on front pastedown, in dust jacket w/scratches, 1" high x 1/4" wide piece from bottom edge of front panel, chipping to spine ends, edge tears, general wear.

New York Charles Scribner's Sons 1945 First Edition Hard Cover Very Good Fair 
The fourteenth book to feature the legal adventures of Mr. Ephraim Tutt, this one a collection of stories appearing in hardcover for the first time. Red cloth w/blue lettering/rule, 241 pages, dust jacket illustration by Arthur William Brown. A suggestion of wear to corners/spine ends, tanning, in rubbed and price-clipped dust jacket (now in mylar sleeve) w/sunned spine, chipping to corners/spine ends, edge tears, a piece measuring approximately 1" square missing from bottom edge of front panel, general wear.
