1 Curran, Kevin, Peter Gaffney, Fred Graver (editors) National Lampoon, July 1984, Special Summer Fun Issue
New York NL Communications Inc. 1984 Magazine Very Good
A collection of words and pictures extolling the benefits of moderation and responsibility, by such proponents of hard work and restraint as John Bendel, Sean Kelly, Fred Graver, Kevin Curran, Gary Hallgren, Ron Hauge, Michael Di Biase, Gerald Sussman, Jack Handey, Terry Allen, John Brancato, Peter Gaffney, Rich Rosomoff, Hovik Dilakian, Gary Yealdhall, Sean Earley, Charlie Haas, T.J. Englander, Mark Mazut, Charlie Rubin, Gerald Rivera, and Michael Raab, whose cover illustration depicts a young single mother working as a rodeo slut to pay her way through pole dancing school. Of particular note to the early-to-bed/early-to-rise crowd is the article "Fun Things to Do in a Resort Town," containing such gems as "Walk up to a group of young women and ask them if they live in town. If they say yes, say, 'Oh good, then you must be whores.'" The chuckles never stop. Well, yes, they do. 90 pages. Sings of address label removal to bottom, light general wear.

2 Plunkett, L. Dennis (editor in chief), Kevin Curran, Peter Gaffney, Fred Graver (editors) National Lampoon, November/Nov. 1984, Accidental Issue
New York NL Communications Inc. 1984 Magazine Good
Oh yeah, sure, it's all fun and games when a dentist and his patient are starring at a dental hygenist's delightful cleavage, but it's only fun and games until someone loses an eye, and then it's hilarity on an unprecedented scale. And as one might expect from a magazine which employed the likes of Lee Frank, Robert de Michiell, Charles Kaufman, Paul Proch, Drew Friedman, John Bendel, Mark Taffet, Ron Hauge, Kellan Hatch, Martha Keavney, Angus McKie, Lindsay McKean, Ronald G. Harris, Kevin Curran, Peter Gaffney, Richard Tulka, Randi Hacker, Jack Handey, and Christopher Hart, no opportunity to exploit someone else's suffering is allowed to pass. Sticker remains to bottom of front cover, light soil, corner wear, general handling wear.
