THE ACADIAN MAGAZINE 1826-1828, Contents Report and Index

By: Vincent, Thomas, and Ann LaBrash (compilers)

Price: $45.00

Quantity: 1 available

The fifth title in the Occasional Papers of the Department of English, R.M.C. series, this one "intended to be a research support document for use with 'The Acadian Magazine', Canada's first literary journal." (The compilers make the same claim for another magazine toward which they turned their attention, "The Nova-Scotia Magazine," and since it began life in 1789, 37 years before this one, it would seem that the true credit as Canada's first literary journal goes there). Photocopied typescript, stapled, 39 pages (including indices). A suggestion of wear.
