Price: $12.50

Quantity: 1 available

A magazine once-upon-a-time found as a weekend insert in Canadian newspapers. This issue features articles by Al Purdy on the defence of Labrador ("Guarding the Land God Gave to Cain", with photography by Paul Gelinas), James Quig on Larry Zolf ("Balloon, Buffoon, Cartoon, Lampoon...", with photography by Harold Whyte), Marq de Villiers on Howard Eisenberg ("Out of Our Minds", with photography by Harold Whyte), and Chris Zelkovich on then-Peterborough Petes coach Roger Neilson ("Pete Puckish", with photography by Frank Prazak). Margo Oliver contributes a page of recipes ("For Openers", with photography by Julius Szelei). Front cover features caricature of Larry Zolf by someone whose signature I can't decipher; back cover features an advertisement for Craven A cigarettes. 31 pages. Sunned edges, light dampstaining to top right edge of front cover, another light spot to top left corner, uneven 1" tear to fore-edge of page 21/22. Magazine is too large for scanner, so about 1" on either side and about 1/2" at the bottom does not appear.
