Follows the 1972 Sono Nis edition. A newspaper editor in a small northern Canadian town immerses himself in the town's past in order to write a novel, but "finds that he has descended into an historical hell, a bizarre world of primeval impulse and moral hysteria." (I used to have an apartment in that town.) Thin reading crease, light edgewear, some rubbing, sunned spine. Internally tight and clean.
