The second title from the series edited by Professor Vasile Stoica, this one an extremely scarce booklet offering information on the history and conditions of then-modern Roumania. 52 pages, map attached to inside back cover, front cover illustration by George Julian Zolnay. Cover detached (but present, .75" x .5" inch piece from bottom left corner of front cover, a couple of pages with short edge tears (do not affect text), 1" diagonal tear to bottom right edge of back cover, subsequent creasing between tear and bottom edge, moderate soil to back cover, tiny tape repair to bottom edges of text block. It sounds worse than it is. If the cover were attached, the booklet would be G or even G-VG. Map is VG w/some minor edgewear. (C/BT)
