FROM TIMBER TO BRICK, Oromocto Heritage Houses -- to 1950

A history of the houses of the small community of Oromocto, New Brunswick, prior to the arrival of the Canadian military at CFB Gagetown in the early 1950s. Photocopied typescript, unpaginated, illustrated w/numerous photographs. Laid-in photocopied hand-drawn plan shows location of all the town’s houses in 1950. Photocopy is on two 8&1/2 x 11 sheets of paper. Soil to covers, smudging, tape pull to top right portion of front cover (does not interfere with cover lettering or photograph), general wear. Internally tight and clean. A very scarce item.
