A young Mountie endures "arctic blizzards, the hatred of a superior officer, the scorn of his fellow constables" and faces certain death in order "to save the girl he loved, to bring in a crazed prisoner, to help a poverty-stricken widow." But all of that's probably a piece of masticated muktaak compared to his most difficult task: spending time alone with his lady love "in a cabin in the wastes of snow (where) he must respect her while passion burned in his blood." 192 pages. Impressions/scratches, some creasing to bottom right portion of front cover, edge/corner wear, 3/8" tear to bottom right spine edge, a bit of slant, small scrape to top left corner of back cover (looks like sticker removal took some finish with it) previous owner's name/address on inside front cover.
