Tait was born in Marysville, New Brunswick, in 1911, and spent five years in the RCAF during World War II. He was an avid sportsman, and won a variety of championships with numerous New Brunswick teams. Contains a wealth of genealogical information. Inscription reads: "I hope you enjoy/'Not Your Average Joe'/as much as I enjoyed/putting it together. Alfred/was quite a man." 588 pages (including appendices, bibliography, index, brief author biography), illustrated. Light rubbing/thin scratches, mild corner wear, tiny soil marks to edges. Internally sound.
