THE IRISH LUMBERMAN-FARMER, Fitzgeralds, Harrigans and Others

By: King, Joseph A.

Price: $35.00

Quantity: 1 available

Book Condition: Good

The author takes a look at Irish immigration to the New Brunswick and America, and his work disputes the commonly held opinion that not many Irish Catholics made the voyage to North America prior to the Great Famine; his work proves otherwise. Of value to historians and genealogists. 254 pages (including notes, bibliography, indices), illustrated. Moderate edgewear, 1/4" separation to bottom right spine edge, front end paper excised, several turned page corners, spine split at pages 127/8/9, occasional unobtrusive ink marks/marginalia. Not a pristine copy, by any stretch, but uncommon in any condition, and one that would certainly be more expensive if in better shape. Should be read with care to avoid further damage.
