Contains a variety of stories and articles, among them short fiction by Elisabeth Sanxay Holding ("Pink Soap Princess"), Borden Chase ("The Runt"), and James Francis Dwyer ("The Red Ape of Pontianak"), and the second (concluding) part of the serial, "Horse Doctor," by James A. Cowan. There are articles by Will R. Bird, Leslie Roberts, Beverley Baxter, and the conclusion of Victor C. Soucisse's three-part report, "Revolt in Quebec." Additionally there are editorials, humourous articles, an article on fishing the small-mouth black bass ("The Gamest Fish," by Ozark Ripley with Dink Carroll), recipes and some terrific old advertisements. 40 pages, illustrated w/photographs and drawings. Worn w/strong spine roll, surface wear, edgewear, address sticker to top right corner of front cover, turned corners, creasing, general wear. Issues of MacLean's from this era aren't particularly common, and seem to be seldom found in pristine condition.
