The survivor of a lethal virus that has decimated North America and turned humanity into an endangered species must also survive the society resulting from it, but he probably won't have as great a chance as the President of the United States, who has "fled the White House," and is now "safely concealed in a secret war room," where he sits "watching his country die." (remind you of anyone?) Despite multiple printings, this is a somewhat scarce title, and in these pandemic days is much sought after. 253 pages + three pages of advertisements for other titles from this publisher. A bit of edgewear, strong spine slant/roll w/the usual reading creases, a bit of chipping to spine ends, 1/4" separation at bottom right spine edge, several cover creases, stamp to fore-edge, moderate handling wear. The image shown is the copy offered for sale, not some generic picture lifted from God knows where.
